On 15th May 2019, the Consulate General, Ann Ollestad hosted Annual Constitutional Day celebration in her residence alongside friends, colleagues from the consular corps and local partners in jurisdiction.
The guest of honor for the evening was the new Director General of Shipping Mr. Amitabh Kumar who spoke on the developing Maritime relationship between Norway and India.
The previous DG of Shipping Dr. Malini Shankar was also seen attending. Their attendance went well with the theme of the day which was “Norway: Powered By Ocean”.
This year’s constitution day was a particularly special occasion for the consulate, as the Consul Tor Dahlstrøm will retire this summer.
This was marked with a collection of images saluting his accomplishments during his time here in Mumbai.
From the participation with Afroz Shah and the beach cleanup, to his two hole in one records at the golf course, his work here in Mumbai, and in other countries on behalf of Norway was greatly appreciated.
