- The virus is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person.

- Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
- These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
- For severe cases, there may be additional options for treatment, including research drugs and therapeutics.

- Wash your hands frequently
- Maintain social distancing, maintain at least 6 feet distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching eyes, mouth and nose because hands touch many surfaces can pick up viruses and contaminated hands can transfer the virus to your eys, mouth or nose.
- Maintain respiratory hygiene, i:e, cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. And if using a tissue please dispose it immediately.
- If you have medical illness like fever, cough or difficulties in breathing then seek immediate medical attention.
- Stay in a protected and healthy environment and avoid unnecessary travel.
