On 09 May 2019, Royal Norwegian Consulate held a conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in business: Rethinking Business for 2030. Along with Universitetet i Oslo (UiO) – SUM – Centre for Development and the Environment, Samhita and National Foundation for India, at Taj Lands End. Prominent figures and CEO’s from all of society, with media, NGOs, research organizations, government and business, attended the seminar. Through plenary sessions, the speakers discussed the interlinkage between the SDGs, the challenge of combining environmental and social progress with continued economic development, as well as sharing the efforts of their own organizations and companies.
